Against the backdrop of global economic integration, more and more enterprises aspire to go global and expand into overseas markets. Self-operated export rights are like a key to unlocking the door to international markets. Simply put, self-operated export rights allow enterprises to conduct import and export business independently, directly engaging in trade with foreign clients without the need for intermediaries like foreign trade agencies. Possessing self-operated export rights not only reduces trade costs but also enables enterprises to have a more direct grasp of international market dynamics, thereby enhancing their competitiveness. However, obtaining self-operated export rights is not an overnight achievement; it involves a rigorous process. Next, we will provide a detailed explanation of the application process for self-operated export rights.
Pre-Application Preparations

Firstly, enterprises must ensure they possess legal and compliant operating qualifications. This means completing industrial and commercial registration and obtaining a valid business license. The business scope on the business license must include "import and export of goods" or "import and export of technology." If not, business scope amendment procedures need to be promptly completed.
Secondly, tax registration is an indispensable step. Enterprises must complete tax registration, obtain a tax registration certificate, and ensure timely tax declaration. Simultaneously, it is necessary to apply for general taxpayer status, as general taxpayers can enjoy more favorable policies regarding export tax rebates, which are crucial for reducing export costs.

Subsequent Maintenance and Precautions
After obtaining self-operated export rights, it is not a one-time achievement. Enterprises must continuously monitor policy changes, stay informed about relevant laws and regulations for import and export, and updates in tax policies. Concurrently, they must diligently maintain records and declarations for export business, conduct timely foreign exchange cancellation and export tax rebate applications, and ensure that operations are conducted in compliance.
Self-operated export rights open up a broad path for enterprises to the international market, but the application process requires serious attention from enterprises, as each step is crucial for the successful commencement of import and export business. We hope that all enterprise operators can follow the process, successfully obtain self-operated export rights, and make great strides in the international market.
